George Connor (August 16, 1906 – October 28, 1968) was an American racing driver known for his participation in the early years of Formula 1. Born in Washington, D.C., he began his racing career in the 1920s, gaining attention in various motorsport events in the United States before transitioning to international racing. Connor made his debut in the inaugural Formula 1 season in 1950, representing the United States as one of the few American drivers of the era.
Connor's racing career in Formula 1 saw him compete in a total of five Grand Prix events, most notably driving for the Maserati team. His best result came during the 1951 British Grand Prix, where he finished fourth, demonstrating his competitive spirit and skill on the track.
