George Groatt is a former professional American football player known for his tenure in the National Football League (NFL) during the late 1980s and early 1990s. Born on April 7, 1964, in Detroit, Michigan, Groatt played as an offensive lineman, primarily at the guard position. He attended the University of Michigan, where he showcased his skills, earning recognition as a standout player in college football.
Groatt was selected in the 6th round of the 1986 NFL Draft by the New York Jets.
