Biography
George Musso was born on April 8, 1910, in Chicago, Illinois. He attended the University of Illinois, where he played college football and developed his skills as a formidable offensive and defensive lineman. After graduating, Musso transitioned to professional football and made his mark in the National Football League (NFL).
Musso spent the majority of his career with the Chicago Bears, joining the team in 1933. During his tenure with the Bears, he became known for his exceptional blocking techniques and versatility on the field, contributing to the team’s success in multiple seasons. He was a key player in the Bears' 1933 NFL Championship victory and was selected to the Pro Bowl twice, reflecting his prominence among contemporaneous linemen.
