Gerald Geister (born April 15, 1992) is a retired professional basketball athlete known for his contributions to the sport in both domestic and international leagues. He began his collegiate career at the University of North Carolina, where he earned recognition as a key player for the Tar Heels, helping the team secure a National Championship in 2013. Following his impressive collegiate tenure, Geister declared for the NBA Draft and was selected in the second round by the Atlanta Hawks in 2014.
Throughout his professional career, Geister played several seasons in the NBA, as well as overseas in leagues in Europe and Asia. He became known for his scoring ability, defensive prowess, and leadership on the court. Notably, he averaged 15.6 points per game in his best NBA season and was named a league All-Star during his tenure with the Italian club Virtus Bologna.
