Biography
Gerry Ellis, born on November 12, 1957, is a former professional American football player who played as a running back in the National Football League (NFL). He attended the University of Southern California, where he was a standout player, contributing to the team’s success and earning All-American honors. After a successful college career, Ellis was selected in the 1979 NFL Draft.
Ellis began his professional career with the Dallas Cowboys, where he played from 1979 to 1981.
