Gerry Vogt is a former professional American football player known for his role as a linebacker in the National Football League (NFL) during the 1970s and 1980s. Born on January 5, 1950, in New Orleans, Louisiana, he played college football at the University of Arkansas, where he was recognized for his outstanding defensive skills and leadership abilities. Vogt was selected in the 6th round of the 1972 NFL Draft by the Miami Dolphins.
