Glen Rice, born on May 28, 1967, in Saint Croix, U.S. Virgin Islands, is a former professional basketball player known for his scoring ability and three-point shooting prowess. He played college basketball at the University of Michigan, where he was a key member of the Wolverines’ 1989 NCAA Championship team. Rice’s collegiate success positioned him as a high-level prospect in the NBA Draft.
Rice was selected fourth overall by the Miami Heat in the 1989 NBA Draft, and he quickly established himself as one of the league's elite shooters. Over his 15-year NBA career, he played for several teams, including the Miami Heat, Charlotte Hornets, Los Angeles Lakers, and New York Knicks.
