Glover Teixeira, born on October 28, 1979, in Sobrália, Brazil, is a Brazilian mixed martial artist and former light heavyweight champion in the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC). He began his combat sports journey in his youth, training in Brazilian jiu-jitsu and later transitioning to mixed martial arts. Teixeira made his professional MMA debut in 2002, quickly establishing himself in the regional circuits before gaining international recognition.
