Greg Buttle, born on June 20, 1954, in Waverly, New York, is a former professional American football linebacker. He played college football at Penn State University, where he was a key member of the Nittany Lions' squad that won the 1972 Orange Bowl. His strong performance in college propelled him into the NFL, where he was drafted by the New York Jets in the sixth round of the 1976 NFL Draft.
