Greg Pruitt, Jr. is a former professional American football running back who played in the National Football League (NFL) during the 1970s and 1980s. Born on September 21, 1951, in Haskell, Texas, Pruitt played college football at the University of Oklahoma, where he was a standout player, earning All-American honors in 1971. His collegiate success led him to be selected in the second round of the 1973 NFL Draft by the Cleveland Browns.
