Greg Spires is a former American football defensive end, born on August 12, 1974, in McKeesport, Pennsylvania. He played college football at Florida State University, where he was a notable contributor to the Seminoles’ defense. Spires entered the NFL as an undrafted free agent in 1998, eventually signing with the Kansas City Chiefs.
Throughout his professional career, Spires played for several teams, including the Kansas City Chiefs, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, and the Cleveland Browns. He is best recognized for his tenure with the Buccaneers, where he contributed to the team's formidable defense, culminating in a Super Bowl victory in Super Bowl XXXVII.
