Gregg Doherty is a former professional American football player who played as a linebacker in the National Football League (NFL) during the late 1980s and early 1990s. He was born on March 12, 1965, in Miami, Florida, and attended the University of Florida, where he gained recognition for his athleticism and defensive skills. After a standout collegiate career, Doherty was selected in the third round of the 1987 NFL Draft.
