Guy Dury was an English cricketer born on December 4, 1895. He made his first-class debut in 1921 and played primarily for the Yorkshire County Cricket Club, where he established himself as a talented all-rounder. Throughout his career, Dury was known for his right-arm medium-pace bowling and capable batting, making significant contributions in both disciplines.
Over the course of his career, Dury appeared in 116 first-class matches, securing 362 wickets at an average of 25.03. He achieved his best bowling figures of 7 for 21 in a match against Worcestershire in 1926, showcasing his prowess as a bowler. In addition to his bowling, he scored a total of 2,830 runs, including five half-centuries, demonstrating his all-around capabilities on the field.
