Guy Sparrow (July 2, 1877 – January 5, 1958) was a prominent English cricketer known for his contributions to the sport in the early 20th century. Born in Huddersfield, Yorkshire, Sparrow made a significant impact as a right-handed batsman and a right-arm slow bowler, representing Yorkshire County Cricket Club in various domestic competitions. His playing career spanned from 1898 until 1914, during which he became known for his elegant batting style and consistency on the field.
Sparrow made his first-class debut for Yorkshire in 1898 and soon established himself as a reliable middle-order batsman. His most notable season came in 1906 when he scored over 1,000 runs, solidifying his reputation and earning him selection for representative matches.
