Hana Mandlíková, born on February 19, 1962, in Prague, Czechoslovakia, is a retired professional tennis player who became a naturalized Australian citizen in the 1980s. She was a prominent figure in women's tennis during the late 1970s and 1980s, known for her powerful baseline play and exceptional agility on the court. Mandlíková turned professional in 1978 and quickly ascended the ranks, showcasing her talents at various international tournaments.
Throughout her career, Mandlíková achieved significant milestones, including winning four Grand Slam singles titles: the Australian Open in 1980, and the French Open in 1981, as well as reaching the finals of the U.S. Open in 1982 and 1983.
