Hardy Nickerson, born on September 1, 1965, in New Mexico, is a former professional American football linebacker who made a significant impact in the National Football League (NFL) during his career. He played college football at the University of California, Berkeley, where he garnered attention for his defensive prowess. Nickerson was selected in the fifth round of the 1987 NFL Draft by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, marking the beginning of a distinguished 16-season professional career.
