Harley Paynter is a former professional basketball player known for his exceptional skills as a point guard. Born on March 15, 1985, in Chicago, Illinois, he gained recognition for his high basketball IQ and outstanding playmaking abilities. Paynter attended the University of Illinois, where he became a key player on the college team, leading them to multiple NCAA tournament appearances.

After graduating in 2007, Paynter was drafted in the second round of the NBA Draft by the New York Knicks.
