Harry Kipke, born on March 26, 1899, in Chicago, Illinois, was a prominent American football player and coach. He played as a halfback and quarterback for the University of Michigan from 1917 to 1920, where he gained recognition for his exceptional skills and leadership on the field. Kipke was a key member of the 1918 and 1920 Michigan teams, helping lead the Wolverines to a perfect season in 1920.
After his collegiate career, Kipke transitioned to the professional ranks, joining the National Football League (NFL). He played for several teams, most notably the Chicago Bears and the Los Angeles Rams, showcasing his versatility and athleticism.
