Heath Black, born on May 28, 1979, is a former Australian rules footballer known for his contributions to the Australian Football League (AFL). He was drafted by the West Coast Eagles in the 1996 AFL Draft and made his debut in 1997. Over the course of his career, Black played with notable clubs including the West Coast Eagles, St Kilda, and the Fremantle Dockers.
During his time at St Kilda from 2000 to 2004, Black established himself as a versatile player, predominantly operating as a midfielder. He was a vital component of the Saints' lineup, contributing to their runner-up finish in the 2009 AFL Grand Final. Throughout his career, he was known for his pace, skillful ball handling, and ability to impact games at crucial moments.
