Herb Steigler (born December 3, 1946) was an American football player who achieved prominence as a defensive end in the National Football League (NFL). He played college football at the University of Pittsburgh, where he garnered All-American honors and was known for his exceptional versatility on the field. Steigler was selected in the fourth round of the 1968 NFL Draft by the New York Giants.
During his NFL career, Steigler played for the New York Giants and the San Diego Chargers, solidifying his reputation as a tenacious defender and a key contributor on the defensive line.
