Humberto González, born on March 25, 1966, in Los Mochis, Sinaloa, Mexico, is a retired professional boxer known for his exceptional skills in the ring. Competing primarily in the flyweight and super flyweight divisions, González turned professional in 1984 and quickly gained recognition for his powerful punching and tactical acumen. His early career was marked by a series of significant victories that established him as a formidable contender in the boxing community.
González achieved major success in 1990 when he won the WBC Flyweight Championship by defeating the reigning champion, Coco Gómez. Throughout his career, he made nine successful title defenses and was widely regarded as one of the premier flyweights of his era.
