Igor Korolev, born on September 6, 1970, in Moscow, Russia, is a former professional ice hockey player renowned for his contributions to the sport during the 1990s and early 2000s. A versatile forward, Korolev began his career in the Soviet Union, playing primarily for Spartak Moscow before moving to North America, where he joined the National Hockey League (NHL). He was selected by the Winnipeg Jets in the 1992 NHL Entry Draft, marking the beginning of his successful tenure in the league.
