Igor Olshansky, born on May 3, 1982, in Odessa, Ukraine, is a former professional American football player who played as a defensive end in the National Football League (NFL). He emigrated to the United States in 1994 and played college football at the University of Oregon before declaring for the NFL Draft. Olshansky was selected in the fourth round of the 2004 draft by the San Diego Chargers, where he quickly established himself as a key defensive player.
During his career, Olshansky was recognized for his strong pass-rushing ability and run-stopping skills, contributing significantly to the Chargers' defensive lineup. He played with the Chargers from 2004 to 2007, participating in the team’s successful 2006 season, which culminated in a playoff appearance.
