Ilya Nikulin, born on March 12, 1982, in Moscow, Russia, is a former professional ice hockey defenseman who had a noteworthy career in both the Russian leagues and international competitions. Nikulin began playing youth hockey in Moscow before making his professional debut in 1999 with HC Dynamo Moscow.
