Ingram Purvis is a retired American basketball athlete, known for his influential career in both collegiate and professional basketball. Born on June 15, 1985, in Charlotte, North Carolina, Purvis rose to prominence as a standout player at the University of North Carolina, where he played for the Tar Heels from 2003 to 2007. During his collegiate career, he helped lead the team to an NCAA Championship in 2005 and earned All-ACC honors.
Following his successful college tenure, Purvis was selected in the second round of the 2007 NBA Draft by the Los Angeles Clippers.
