Isaia Toeava, born on January 15, 1986, in Auckland, New Zealand, is a former professional rugby union player renowned for his versatility on the field, primarily playing as a fullback, wing, and centre. He gained prominence during his teenage years, showcasing exceptional skills and agility that led to his selection for the New Zealand Under-19 team and subsequent representation in the Under-21 squad. Toeava made his debut for the All Blacks in 2005 at the age of 19, becoming one of the youngest players to earn an international cap for the national team.
Throughout his international career, Toeava made notable contributions to the All Blacks, participating in multiple international tours and Rugby World Cup tournaments. He played a key role in the 2007 Rugby World Cup, making significant plays that helped the New Zealand team reach the knockout stages.
