Isiah Robertson, born on August 17, 1949, in New Orleans, Louisiana, was a professional American football linebacker who played in the National Football League (NFL) for eleven seasons. After excelling at Southern University, he was selected in the first round of the 1971 NFL Draft by the Los Angeles Rams. Known for his speed and athleticism, Robertson quickly became a key player for the Rams, helping to solidify their defensive unit throughout the early 1970s.
