Israel Dagg, born on June 6, 1988, in Hastings, New Zealand, is a retired professional rugby union player renowned for his speed and agility on the field. He primarily played as a fullback and winger, and his professional career began with the Hawke's Bay rugby team in 2006. Dagg's skill set quickly attracted attention, leading to his selection for the New Zealand national team, the All Blacks.
