Ivan Baranka, born on May 19, 1985, in Poprad, Slovakia, is a former professional ice hockey defenseman known for his agility and strong defensive skills. He began his career in the Slovak Extraliga, where he rapidly gained recognition for his performance with HC Slovan Bratislava.
