Jack Belcher is a retired professional basketball player known for his exceptional skills as a shooting guard. Born on March 12, 1985, in Atlanta, Georgia, he emerged as a standout player at Eastside High School before committing to play college basketball at the University of Georgia. During his collegiate career, Belcher earned All-SEC honors and led the Bulldogs to two consecutive NCAA tournament appearances.
Following his college success, Belcher was selected in the second round of the 2007 NBA Draft by the Denver Nuggets. He quickly made an impact in the league, known for his sharpshooting ability and defensive prowess, contributing to the Nuggets’ playoff runs in 2008 and 2009. He later had stints with several NBA teams, including the Toronto Raptors and Orlando Magic, achieving a career high of 22 points per game during the 2011-2012 season.
Belcher retired from professional basketball in 2018, leaving behind a legacy as one of the notable sharpshooters of his era.
