Biography
Jack Ham, born on December 23, 1948, in Johnstown, Pennsylvania, is a former professional American football linebacker who played his entire career with the Pittsburgh Steelers in the National Football League (NFL). After a standout college career at Penn State University, he was selected in the second round of the 1971 NFL Draft. Known for his exceptional football IQ and tackling ability, Ham became a key member of the Steelers' dominant defense during their championship years in the 1970s.
Throughout his 12-season career, Ham was instrumental in helping the Steelers secure four Super Bowl titles (IX, X, XIII, and XIV). He was named to the Pro Bowl eight times and was recognized as a First-Team All-Pro five times, reflecting his elite status among linebackers of his era.
