After averaging over 25 points per game in his senior year, he secured a scholarship to play basketball at the University of Missouri, where he played as a shooting guard from 2013 to 2017.
During his tenure at the University of Missouri, Schoppmeyer was a key player for the Tigers, leading the team to multiple NCAA tournament appearances.
