Jack Trudeau, born on September 9, 1962, in Bloomington, Illinois, is a former American football quarterback who played in the National Football League (NFL). After a successful collegiate career at the University of Illinois, where he set several school records, he was selected in the second round of the 1986 NFL Draft by the Indianapolis Colts. Trudeau's professional career spanned from 1986 to 1993, during which he played for the Colts, the Chicago Bears, and the New York Jets.
Trudeau is best known for his tenure with the Indianapolis Colts, where he became the starting quarterback in 1988. He achieved notable success during the 1989 season, leading the team to an 8-8 record and throwing for over 2,400 yards, which helped solidify his position as a key player in the franchise's history.
