Jacob Markström is a professional ice hockey goaltender from Sweden, born on January 31, 1990, in Gothenburg. He was selected in the second round, 31st overall, by the Florida Panthers in the 2008 NHL Entry Draft. Markström made his NHL debut during the 2010-11 season and quickly established himself as a highly regarded prospect within the Panthers' organization.
