Jacques Laperrière, born on November 22, 1941, in Montreal, Quebec, is a former professional ice hockey defenceman known for his tenure in the National Hockey League (NHL) during the 1960s and 1970s. He was drafted 16th overall by the Detroit Red Wings in the 1960 NHL Amateur Draft and made his NHL debut shortly thereafter, quickly establishing himself as a reliable player known for his defensive skills and physical play.
