Jahlil Okafor, born on December 15, 1995, in Chicago, Illinois, is an American professional basketball player known for his scoring and rebounding abilities. After a standout high school career at Whitney Young High School, Okafor committed to Duke University, where he played one season (2014-2015) under head coach Mike Krzyzewski. He was instrumental in leading the Blue Devils to an NCAA Championship, earning numerous accolades, including the Naismith College Player of the Year and the Wooden Award.
