Biography
Jahri Evans is a former professional American football offensive guard, born on August 22, 1983, in Sayreville, New Jersey. He played college football at Bloomsburg University before being drafted by the New Orleans Saints in the fourth round of the 2006 NFL Draft. Over his 12-year career, Evans became known for his exceptional skills in pass protection and run blocking, contributing significantly to the success of his teams.
Evans spent the majority of his career with the New Orleans Saints, where he was a key player during the franchise's historic Super Bowl XLIV victory in the 2009 season. He was selected to the Pro Bowl five times and earned First-Team All-Pro honors four times, solidifying his reputation as one of the league's premier offensive linemen. His consistent performance and leadership on the field were instrumental in helping the Saints maintain a competitive edge in the NFC South.
