Jaidah Black is an accomplished basketball athlete known for her outstanding performance on both high school and collegiate levels. She gained national attention during her senior year at Eastwood High School in El Paso, Texas, where she averaged 25 points, 10 rebounds, and 7 assists per game, leading her team to the state championship. Her exceptional skills earned her multiple awards, including the Texas High School Basketball Player of the Year.
Continuing her athletic career, Black played for the University of Texas at Austin, where she became a key player for the Longhorns. Over her four-season tenure, she helped the team reach the NCAA Tournament multiple times, showcasing her versatility as a guard and earning All-Conference honors in her junior and senior years. In her final season, she led the team in scoring and assists, culminating in her selection in the WNBA Draft.
