Biography
Jake Bischoff is an American ice hockey defenseman born on July 25, 1994, in Minneapolis, Minnesota. He began his junior career with the Sioux Falls Stampede in the United States Hockey League (USHL) before moving on to play collegiate hockey at the University of Minnesota Duluth. During his time with the Bulldogs, Bischoff was instrumental in leading the team to an NCAA championship in 2017, showcasing his defensive skills and offensive contributions.
Following his collegiate success, Bischoff was selected by the New York Islanders in the seventh round of the 2012 NHL Entry Draft. He made his professional debut in the American Hockey League (AHL) with the Bridgeport Sound Tigers, where he quickly established himself as a reliable defenseman. In addition to his time in the AHL, Bischoff had brief stints in the NHL with the New York Islanders and subsequently signed with the Vegas Golden Knights, contributing to the team's inaugural season and playoff run in 2018.
