Jake Scott, born on July 20, 1945, in Greenwood, South Carolina, is a former professional American football safety renowned for his impactful career in the National Football League (NFL). He played college football at the University of Georgia before being drafted by the Miami Dolphins in 1970 during the seventh round of the NFL Draft.
