Jalen Bouknight is an American professional basketball player known for his scoring ability and athleticism. Born on September 18, 1999, in Tustin, California, he developed his skills at Centennial High School, where he emerged as a standout player. After graduation, Bouknight played college basketball at the University of Connecticut, where he made significant contributions to the team's success during the 2019-2020 and 2020-2021 NCAA seasons.
During his sophomore season at UConn, Bouknight averaged 18.7 points, 5.7 rebounds, and 1.8 assists per game, showcasing his potential as a prolific scorer and playmaker. His performances earned him recognition as one of the top prospects in college basketball, and he garnered All-AAC First Team honors. In March 2021, after a successful college career, Bouknight declared for the 2021 NBA Draft.
