Jaroslav Drobný was a prominent tennis player and notable figure in the sport, born on October 12, 1921, in Cairo, Egypt, to Czechoslovakian parents. He became a naturalized Egyptian citizen and represented his adopted country in international competitions, achieving considerable success during the mid-20th century.
