Jarrod Skalde, born on February 26, 1971, in Waterloo, Ontario, Canada, is a former professional ice hockey player renowned for his versatility on the ice. Skalde was drafted by the New Jersey Devils in the 5th round, 105th overall, of the 1990 NHL Entry Draft. Over the course of his career, he played as a forward in the National Hockey League (NHL) for teams including the New Jersey Devils, Anaheim Ducks, and the Chicago Blackhawks.
Skalde made his NHL debut during the 1992-93 season and went on to appear in a total of 178 regular-season games, scoring 22 goals and 36 assists. His career also spanned various leagues, including a significant tenure in the International Hockey League (IHL) and American Hockey League (AHL), where he demonstrated consistent scoring ability and leadership qualities, helping to establish his reputation as a reliable player.
