Jarryd Roughead, born on January 23, 1987, in Tasmania, Australia, is a former professional Australian rules footballer who played for the Hawthorn Football Club in the Australian Football League (AFL). Drafted with the second pick in the 2004 AFL Draft, Roughead quickly established himself as a key forward known for his goal-scoring ability, versatility, and leadership on and off the field. He debuted in 2005 and went on to become one of the club's most celebrated players.
