Jasmine Payne is an accomplished basketball athlete known for her versatility and exceptional skill on the court. Born on April 14, 1995, in Atlanta, Georgia, Payne quickly distinguished herself during her high school career at Westside High School, where she led her team to a state championship and garnered multiple All-State honors. Her impressive high school performance earned her a scholarship to a Division I program at the University of Kentucky.
At the University of Kentucky, Payne became a key player for the Wildcats, leading the team in scoring and assists during her junior year while earning All-SEC recognition. She played a crucial role in the team's deep run in the NCAA tournament, helping Kentucky reach the Elite Eight in 2016. Following her collegiate success, Payne declared for the WNBA Draft and was selected in the second round by the Seattle Storm in 2017.
