Jason Blake is a retired American professional ice hockey player, born on September 2, 1973, in Moorhead, Minnesota. He played as a winger and was known for his speed, tenacity, and scoring ability. Blake was selected in the 1997 NHL Entry Draft by the Los Angeles Kings as the 4th overall pick, marking the beginning of his notable career in the National Hockey League (NHL).
