Biography
Jason Garrison (born November 13, 1984) is a retired Canadian professional ice hockey defenseman known for his powerful shot and strong defensive play. He was drafted in the sixth round, 149th overall, by the Nashville Predators in the 2004 NHL Entry Draft but began his professional career in the American Hockey League (AHL) before making his NHL debut with the Florida Panthers in 2010.
During his time in the NHL, Garrison gained recognition for his offensive contributions from the blue line, notably achieving a career-high 33 points in the 2011-2012 season. He later signed with the Vancouver Canucks in 2012, where he established himself as a key player, earning a reputation for his ability to score big goals from the point and contributing to the team's playoff runs. Garrison also played for the Tampa Bay Lightning and the Ottawa Senators before concluding his NHL career.
