Jason Herter, born on October 2, 1970, in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada, is a former professional ice hockey player renowned for his skills as a forward. He rose through the ranks of junior hockey, notably playing for the Tri-City Americans in the Western Hockey League (WHL) during the late 1980s, where he showcased his offensive prowess and earned recognition among top prospects.
Herter was selected 50th overall in the 1989 NHL Entry Draft by the New York Islanders.
