Jean-François Nault, born on December 5, 1967, in Quebec, Canada, is a former professional ice hockey player known for his defensive capabilities and leadership on the ice. Nault played junior hockey with the Shawinigan Cataractes in the QMJHL, where he developed his skills and gained attention from professional scouts. He was drafted 82nd overall by the New York Islanders in the 1987 NHL Entry Draft.
