Jean-Philippe Levasseur, born on January 15, 1987, in Sainte-Agathe-des-Monts, Quebec, Canada, is a former professional ice hockey goaltender. Levasseur began his junior career in the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League (QMJHL) with the Shawinigan Cataractes, where he established himself as a skilled netminder. He was drafted in the sixth round, 181st overall, by the Anaheim Ducks in the 2005 NHL Entry Draft.
